LAUNCH X431 PROS V5.0 (often referred to as PRO V5.0) is a 2025 professional car diagnostic tool designed for both automotive technicians and workshops who need a powerful and versatile tool for vehicle maintenance and diagnostics. It is an upgraded version of the previous PROS V1.0 model, offering improved hardware, wider vehicle coverage and more features. The device supports CANFD and DoIP protocols, which ensure fast data transmission and compatibility with newer vehicles (e.g. GM 2020-2025, BMW F/G chassis, Volvo 2018+, Jaguar, Land Rover 2017+). PROS V5.0 covers 98% of vehicles (1996-2025), covering over 110 car brands and 10,000 models from the American, Asian and European markets, including Ford, GM, Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and many others.

The device runs on Android 10.0 system, has a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM, ensuring fast and stable performance. The 8-inch 1280x800 HD touch screen is clear and user-friendly, and the 6300 mAh battery allows up to 15 hours of operation. PROS V5.0 supports full system diagnostics (engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, etc.), 37+ maintenance functions, two-way control (active tests), ECU coding and key programming (with X-PROG 3 accessory). The AutoVIN function automatically detects vehicle data, and the device generates diagnostic reports that can be shared via email or printed using a WiFi printer.
