LAUNCH Creader 529 is an affordable OBD2 diagnostic scanner suitable for DIYers and small workshops. It supports 1996 and newer vehicles (e.g. Toyota, Ford, BMW) that comply with the OBD2 standard. The device focuses on engine (Engine Check) diagnostics, reading and erasing trouble codes, including the "Check Engine" warning (MIL).
The device has a 2.8-inch color screen for good visibility. It supports full OBD2 functionality: reads real-time data (e.g. RPM, O2 sensors), displays cold frame data, performs I/M readiness tests and allows automatic reading of the VIN code. In addition, there are DTC lookup and help functions. The device supports 7+ languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese).
